KIM 2770 Insertion Magnetic Flow Meter

The KIM 2770 insertion flow meters represent the best answer when low costs and good performance are needed. As all magnetic flow meters, they can be used for the measurement of conductive liquids (5 µS/cm minimum). The KIM 2770 flanged typology is most popular insertion meter. The sensors are suitable for wide pipes under maximum pressure of 16 bar , and they are available with several lengths to fit various pipe diameters.

STRUCTURE

The sensor is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The junction box placed on top of the sensor accommodates the cables for the connection to the converter (separate version). In the compact version, the converter is mounted directly on the junction box. In the separate version they have an IP68 protection degree for immersion in 1.5 meters.

Technical Data:

• Sizes: A (100=Di> 500 mm); B (500=Di>1000 mm); C (1000=Di>1600 mm); D (1600=Di>2000 mm)

• Nominal pressure: PN16

• Max liquid temperature: +180°C (separate version); +60°C (compact version)

• Accuracy: 3% of the read value, with a flow velocity higher than 0.3 m/s. Electrodes: 3 in Hastelloy C (Std); AISI 316L, titanium, tantalum and platinum on request

Wafer Type Magnetic Flow Meter

A wafer type magnetic flow meter is still a cost effective solution to measure flow, but with a higher accuracy compared to insertion type magnetic flowmeters.
